Why I Am Running

Develop Educational Technology Policies

Helping our students understand and effectively use technology is an essential cornerstone of modern education, but we need a data-based approach to identify, implement and evaluate safe and effective classroom technologies.

Ensure Teachers Can Focus on Students

To keep student needs the focus of classroom time, I will work with the School Committee to ensure new policies and initiatives include training, resources and time for teachers and staff to adjust their practice.

Encourage Sustainable Schools

Modeling sustainable practices in our school buildings helps our students build an understanding and appreciation for the importance of sustainability, while providing financial and environmental benefits to our entire community.

Integrate Diverse Perspectives

I value diversity of perspectives in decision-making and will strive to be open and attentive to feedback from our community. I also believe every student, teacher and staff member deserves to feel safe, welcome and accepted in our schools.

I am running for school committee because I am passionate about maintaining the high quality of our school system while providing a supportive environment for our students and teachers. I bring experiences that help me see challenges our students, teachers and community face from unique and fresh perspectives.
